DELICIOUSLY ELLA – HEALTHY EATING

So today i’m going to chat about my new absolute favourite cook book, ‘Deliciously Ella’.

I am certainly late in terms of realising the greatness of this hyped up health book –  but I now see how incredible it is. Ella stresses the importance of counting goodness and not calories, and how to be healthy the right way.

Since the beginning of the year, I joined the gym in order to get that, ‘bikini bod’ ready for my travels to Australia and Fiji (2 weeks to go!!!). However, a couple months passed and hadn’t seen a great deal of changes, as I hadn’t actually made any changes to my diet. The fact that I had been exploiting the free cake testers and wastage sandwiches at work certainly didn’t aid my fitness regime either….

I myself am already relatively slim (my goal is NOT to lose weight) I just wanted to tone up –  and I knew I had to cut down on all the processed foods I was constantly consuming in order to achieve this. So, in conjunction with going to the gym 3ish times a week, and using recipes from Deliciously Ella’s cookbook, i’m now on the right path!

     Favourite Delicously Ella Snack

  • My absolute go to snack has been these Flapjacks, which my sister actually made for me using Ella’s recipe.
  • The Flapjacks are created using all natural, healthy ingredients, which means you are left feeling energised for ages, whilst still being healthy! So you don’t have to live off lettuce to be, ‘healthy’.
  • I team these banana based flapjacks with a natural nut butter (I use peanut), and a high quality Raspberry jam, mmmm.
  • They may not look the most appetizing, but they are SO GOOD! Perfect to fix those sweet – tooth cravings, and the high oat content leave you feeling fuller for longer, I couldn’t recommend them more.
